Milwaukee Brewers.  The score was 9 to 2.
 
Atlanta went ahead for good in the 2nd inning scoring one runner utilizing 2
base hits.  Atlanta finished with 15 hits while Milwaukee ended up with 5.
 
The victory was credited to Greg Maddux(1-0) who went 6 innings, allowing 2
runs. Cal Eldred(0-1) took the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 11 hits and
2 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings.
