beat the Texas Rangers 6 to 2.
Toronto scored 4 runs in the decisive bottom of the 2nd inning when they came
up with 4 base hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. Toronto
rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.
The win was credited to Chris Carpenter(1-0) who went 7 innings allowing 1
